Ty spent over 25 years in Operations beginning at GE where he spent over 2 decades, building deep expertise in gas turbine and generator manufacturing through a series of increasingly senior leadership roles. He subsequently spent six years at GE Aviation, overseeing sites with rotating components, combustors, and structures, as well as assembly and test operations supporting both military and commercial aircraft engines. Ty later joined Thermo Fisher Scientific as Vice President of Operations Strategy before becoming Vice President of global Operations for its Laboratory Equipment division. Most recently, Ty served in a senior supply chain leadership role at Insulet, where he helped scale the company’s global supply chain to support sustained double-digit volume growth.
