Capabilities

Machining

Our machine shop specializes in components to support our assemblies, medium to high-complexity milled components, hard metals, and large turning. We offer milling up to 5-axis, 30″ diameter max, and lights-out manufacturing with 32 available pallets; turning centers including multi-axis live tool lathes and vertical turning centers capable of turning up to 32” diameters; and a grind shop with ID/OD Grinders, Centerless Grinders, and Jig grinders.

Assembly

Our assembly department specializes in complex actuators, solenoids, wire harnesses and switches. Our capabilities include resistance weld, fusion weld, pressure testing, valve seat processing and leak testing, electrical test including dielectric test, airflow testing, and part marking including laser, chemical etch, and engraving. Our Certifications include IPC J-STD-001 and ICP/WHMA-A-620.

Repair & Overhaul

ADM Operations is a certified FAA/EASA part 145 repair station engaged in the maintenance, inspection, and alteration of aircraft and aircraft products.

    Is a Certified EASA Repair Station and is similar to FAA requirements, in the maintenance, inspection and alteration of aircraft and aircraft products. This is issued by the European Union, so our overhauled parts are legal in Europe.

    ADM is equipped to support complex fuel controls, cast or billet.

    ADM specializes in hard turning and machining applications utilizing ceramic tooling in both lathes and mills for cycle time reduction.

    ADM operations manufactures all details and performs coil winding, soldering switch assemblies, pinning connectors, and final test of electrical assemblies.

  • Auxiliary Power Unit Wiring Harness

    A typical wiring harness repaired at Kinetic Engine Systems is used on an aircraft’s auxiliary power unit. They are approximately eight feet long with up to a dozen electrical connectors throughout.

  • Actuators

    ADM manufactures a variety of actuator housings and components of all material types. We can supply the machined components separately or supply the fully assembled actuator.
